Renato Dias is a 4th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over 35 years of experience in training, competing, and teaching. His journey in martial arts began at the age of 4 with judo, transitioning to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu shortly after. Renato’s dedication to the art has made him a respected competitor, instructor, and mentor in the global BJJ community.

Personal Life

Renato is proud to carry forward the legacy of Jiu-Jitsu’s greatest pioneers, including Carlos Gracie, Helio Gracie, and Romero Cavalcanti (Jacaré). He received his black belt under the guidance of Vinicius Campelo and Octavio Couto (Ratinho), two renowned figures in the BJJ world.
When he’s not on the mats, Renato enjoys surfing, weightlifting, and spending time with his family. He is passionate about using Jiu-Jitsu to build confidence, foster community, and help others achieve their personal best.
